“This is a new day. The breakthrough will be through singing and crying out instead of the travail of the past. Things will be birthed in a day and a moment without the months and years of travailing and bearing the burden”, the Lord said. I had been awakened this morning at 6:10 with the scripture: Isa 54:1 and an urgency to unfold the meaning. Isa 54:1 declares, “Sing O barren one, you who did not bear, break forth into singing and cry aloud you who did not travail with child”. The Lord continued, “For the spiritual children or fruit of the desolate one will be more than the children of the married wife.”
He continued to speak to me, “The fruit of the ones who move into this season of song and crying out will birth more in the spirit than the travail and bearing of years past. The desperate ones, the empty, desolate ones will move into birthing from a place of emptiness and humility, and much much will be brought into the kingdom!”
I kept hearing, “A new season, a new way of doing things.” I have known for awhile that the enemy had ‘stepped it up’ in his warfare, and that the church had to ‘step it’ up as well. We could not deal with things as we have in the past for we needed greater strategies for this season and the needs seemed greater as well. I had been ‘crying out’ for new, fresh strategies for this time and what was ahead. ”God certainly hears the cry of the fatherless and the widow” (Ex 22:23) and I was expecting to hear.
The strategy continued to flow; “The labor will be easy. Move into the prophetic song, move into declarations and decrees and the birthing will come quickly.”
I saw the the youth releasing a sound, a cry that was carried and caught onto. I saw conception and birthing being done in a song!
I could hardly wait to pull up my PC bible and search out the Hebrew meanings for these key words in the passage. First I looked up the words “Cry aloud” and “singing” and found the meanings to be very similar and very powerful. “Cry aloud” can also be translated: “be cheerful, to sound clear” (and included human expressions like the dance). It continued to give alternative words such as “bellow, lift up, rejoice, make to shine and shout.”
“Singing” can be translated: “a creaking (or shrill sound), shout (of joy or grief), cry, gladness, joy, PROCLAMATION, rejoicing, shouting, sing, and triumph.” (Those who have heard my ‘anointed whistle’ may agree it falls in the category of the shrill sound).
No wonder the Lord said that the labor would be easy as we move into the song (a clear sound) and declarations and decrees…it accelerates the process! It can come out of joy or grief. I understood why He was rising up the arts so amazingly at this time…banners, dance, songs, painting and how we were to all be in step with one another. While I was at the services at Glory of Zion the first of 2011, I watched as the dancers and the musicians and the singers were all in step with the sound. Even those who were declaring and prophesying were in the same flow, the same beat as we conceived and birthed the will of Heaven! What a powerful illustration! Unity and yet different expressions all relating the same message…yes, acceleration time!
The other word I looked up was “desolate”, for it was the desolate ones who could move into this in a greater degree. I knew from the following verses in this passage, that it included the widow. The Lord had shown me too it included the fatherless and the lonely. This word also can be translated ”destitute, destroy self, or lay waste”. It is those empty and lacking that need the Lord to fill that need… it’s those of us that have gone to Him with everything we have for only He can complete us! He had said to me, “the desperate ones…will move into birthing from a place of emptiness and humility”…oh my, this is the answer to depression and self hatred…It is the answer to shame and pain! As we channel it unto the Lord and sing, and cry aloud with our dance and declarations, not only does He stretch out our borders (verses 2 and 3) but we possess the nations! The desolate places are not desolate any longer!
Those who travail and bear the burden will still bear results and birth into the kingdom, verse one. But, those of us who have been emptied by circumstances, let’s choose to sing and cry out… if we will make the shift, MUCH MORE will come in with greater ease.
It’s a strategy for this time and one we have been asking for!
