WIDOWS PRAYER FUSION RECAP – March 6-10, 2012

In preparation for the Intimacy and Glory Conference held at the Fuse Church, Knoxville, Tennessee, twenty-one gathered for our Widows Prayer Fusion! If God certainly hears our cry and God will establish the territory of the widow; then we had a job to do! This was out unique part in this conference, and we were going to do it well!

We began with a wonderful dinner Tuesday evening as ladies came from several states to connect with one another and learn prayer strategies. Among the women were leaders gleaning concepts to apply during and after the conference and to their regions, as well.

During the Wednesday and Thursday daytime sessions we connected with the Intimacy & Glory conference vision and tapped into fundamental prayer concepts to bring results. Gifts of the Holy Spirit aided us in our times of prayer, and we were activated! Each of us was visited by the Holy One in a deep and more intimate way enlarging our capacity to hear and see more clearly. Unity between the ladies was evident as our hearts were knit together in love. It was truly one of the most powerful times of unity I have ever experienced! We discovered how we each had giftings and how powerful it was as we fit together for His purposes honoring one another’s gifts. Commitments were made from the first meeting to keep each other in prayer as well as the speakers, volunteers, attendees and the vision of the conference, and so we did!

For the Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening sessions we moved in prophetic prayer targeting particular areas along with the Fuse Church intercessors. We wrote down, on a dry-erase board, all the elements we were seeing and hearing in the spirit. It was beautiful to see how we were each seeing and hearing an important part of how God was going to move.

Then we witnessed EXACTLY what we had prayed into! The lyrics of the songs that the musicians played, and the messages that the teachers brought (even right down to the VERY words spoken) were the same as what we had written on our dry-erase board. For those new to the things of the spirit it was truly a faith-building experience, and so exciting for everyone!

During our last prayer intercession, one of our Prayer Fusion team members vividly saw the Lord as the Bridegroom, and called us to join her in going down the aisle! She was birthing this intimate experience in the spirit. And as God would have it, the worship leader had us sing into that same experience during the final conference session, using the same words! Throughout the conference meetings, the ladies sat behind the speakers and throughout the building being a prayer shield, moving in the principles they had learned.

I have received many comments from those overseeing the conference how things went more smoothly! They could feel the under-girding of prayer! One staff member said she kept waiting for the other shoe to drop because it was going too smoothly! Then she realized that there was extra prayer covering! Also I have received many comments from the widows of finding fresh purpose and vision for their prayer life moving them into deeper levels that they will continue to use. Leaders are taking back to their areas what they learned, as well.

It was an honor to lead the Widows Prayer Fusion to help prepare warrior’s hearts for deeper intimacy and to experience the tangible glory of the Lord at this conference.
